Hello Adulting With ADHD fam!
To commemorate the upcoming drop of a new season, please enjoy this attempt to reboot the newsletter.
Wait, Who Are You Again?
If you are receiving this, you at some point subscribed to my newsletter on adultingwithadhd.com. A lot of people signed up to receive my hormone guide, but I also create content on trauma, food and more. I also have a podcast on these topics, which you can find here.
New Season: Food and ADHD
The new season will be dropping soon - Jan. 2 to be exact. Topics to include: why ADHD makes it so hard for us to feed ourselves, intuitive eating, Health At Any Size, binge eating, and much more. ADHD Coach and Creator Dusty Chipura drops in to share the same strategies she uses with her clients who struggle in this area.
Thoughts on ADHD Conference
It would be impossible to encapsulate the full impact the conference had on me, but my learnings (in no particular order and not a conclusive list) include: you can have several false starts before actually succeeding at gardening with ADHD; sitting in a lecture hall with rows and rows of other ADHD women and sharing experiences is incredibly powerful; so is the power of choosing which pieces of a major event to attend without feeling compelled to do it all; and - lastly - that my need to leave home periodically to spark creativity and to self-reconnect cannot be understated. Highly recommend!
On Twitter: Everything Everywhere All At Once
I can’t remember the last time I saw a movie so good or have felt so seen. Over to you - what was your take? Join the convo on Twitter.
So how am I doing so far? Should I keep doing this? What do you want to read about?
